Around 17:30 hours, the box assignment was dispatched for the 700 block of East 7th Ave in the Folsom section of the Township. 18-9 arrived to find heavy smoke showing from the roof area. As the Engine and Truck companies went to work 18-9 requested the Air Unit from 70. With a crew of five at the station, the Air Unit responded just seconds after dispatch. Upon arrival Chief 70A split the crew sending two members to the manpower pool and had the rest of the crew setup the fill station. Crews assisted with overhaul in the fire building and filled 11 bottles. After the work was completed the crew was released by 18-9.
